May 18 - Patti Smith: The Coral Sea [extemporized grand piano music, looping / manipulated / pure, in the lobby of of Memorial Hall for 90 minutes before Patti Smith performs upstairs]. 6:30 - 8 pm / tickets / 1225 Elm Street in OTR, Cincinnati. more info here.
May 18 - RAKE FEST ! [traditional ADM performance with loop station, keys and full drumkit, in celebration of the first birthday of Rake’s End. final show before ‘a delicate motor’ LP release on June 15]. 9 pm / free / 2141 Central Ave. in Brighton, Cincinnati. more info here.
Sleep Show is a house show - no unreasonable restrictions. The Patti Smith show is ticketed, but any should be able to wander into the lobby without hassle [not certain]. Rake Fest is free but 21 and older, they may or may not be checking.
